1. No Account Required

Vastu Gurus is designed with a privacy-first approach. We do not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, email address, or phone number to use the app.

2. Local Data Storage

By default, all data generated within the app is stored locally on your device. This includes:

• Floor plan images and PDFs you upload or select.
• Cropped and rotated image files.
• Marked key points (e.g., Entrance, Kitchen, Bedroom locations).
• Magnetic sensor readings and device calibration data.
• Past Vastu analysis reports and Geopathic scan results.

This data remains on your device and is not automatically synced, uploaded, or accessible to us or any third parties.

3. Data Shared for AI Analysis

To provide you with advanced Vastu insights and Geopathic remedies, Vastu Gurus relies on our secure backend API. Data is only transmitted to our servers when you explicitly initiate an analysis (e.g., tapping "Analyse with AI" or generating a Geopathic Remedy).

When you make these requests, the following strictly necessary data is transmitted securely to our servers:

• Vastu AI Analysis: Structural definitions (e.g., Room types like "Entrance" or "Bedroom" and their relative compass directions/facing degrees). We do not upload your actual floor plan image files to our servers.
• Geopathic Scan Remedies: A matrix of environmental magnetic/geopathic readings collected by your device's sensors during a scan.

This data is used strictly in real-time to generate your personalized report and is discarded by our servers immediately after the AI response is generated. We do not store or use this structural data to train public AI models.

4. Device Permissions

To function correctly, Vastu Gurus requires certain device permissions. We only access these features when actively needed:

• Camera & Photo Library: To allow you to upload or capture floor plans. Images never leave your device unless explicitly stated.
• Sensors (Magnetometer/Compass): To determine precise directional alignments (True North) and measure geopathic stress. Sensor data is processed locally.

5. Third-Party Services

Our app communicates with our proprietary API backend (hosted securely). We do not integrate third-party tracking, advertising SDKs, or analytics that harvest your data for marketing purposes.

6. Data Security

All data transmitted between your device and our API for AI analysis is encrypted in transit using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS protocols. Because we do not store your data on our servers, there is no risk of your floor plans or environmental readings being exposed in a server data breach.

7. Deleting Your Data

Because your data is stored locally on your Android device, you have complete control over it. You can permanently delete all floor plans, saved reports, and calibration data simply by clearing the app's data in your Android Settings or by uninstalling the Vastu Gurus app.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time as we add new features. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
